Dr. Tim Betkowski grew up in the Phoenix area ever since the age of 3 years old. He loved animals at a very young age and was always able to bring animals of all shapes and sizes into their family home, which helped shape his future career. Dr. Betkowski graduated from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, in 2019. He then traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, and completed a 1-year specialty rotating internship. Dr. Betkowski joined the AVECCC Peoria team in July 2020 and is proud to be one of the original full-time doctors, since its grand opening.  He chose AVECCC because he was impressed with the goals and vision of this emergency and critical care hospital. He also enjoys working alongside board certified criticalists. His special interests include intricate cases such as: immune-mediated diseases, Addisonian, and the immediate satisfaction of surgical cases.
