Arizona Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center is a premier specialty and 24-hour veterinary emergency animal hospital trusted by the Gilbert and Peoria, AZ communities. Our care team consists of leading board-certified veterinary specialists, emergency doctors, and highly skilled support staff. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of the field of veterinary care technology. Our goal is to ensure the well-being of each pet while expanding the horizons of veterinary care.

Arizona Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Center currently has two, 24-hour emergency and critical care hospitals with locations in Gilbert and Peoria, Arizona. The Gilbert location, established in 2004, is a Level I certified facility through standards set by the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society. The Peoria location, established in 2020, is quickly becoming the preferred veterinary hospital in the Phoenix metropolitan West valley region. AVECCC is known as leaders in intensive critical care and the only emergency hospital in Arizona to be led by four Board Certified Emergency & Critical Care Specialists. Teaching and learning is a central focus at AVECCC and many Veterinarians choose to work here to advance their skills and knowledge while in a supportive environment. AVECCC has life-saving medical equipment such as mechanical ventilation, hi-flow nasal oxygen, and a Prismaflex for renal replacement therapy at both locations. The 28 full-time Emergency Veterinarians and over 100 support staff provide advanced medical care at both of our fast-paced, high-volume emergency hospitals.
