Dr. Tara Tillotson is a native of Phoenix who completed her undergraduate education at the University of Arizona. Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued a degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois. During her time as an undergraduate, she gained practical experience by working as a veterinary assistant. While attending veterinary school, she contributed to the community by volunteering with WorldVets, where she provided international veterinary aid and surgical services to various communities in Ecuador. 

After four years of experience in a general practice and urgent care setting, Dr. Tillotson is excited to transition into the field of emergency medicine. Her professional interests lie in surgery and trauma care. She derives great satisfaction from providing high-quality medical care while enhancing the bond between pets and their owners. 

In her personal life, Dr. Tillotson is a pet owner to two cats, named Squid and Kate, as well as a border collie mix named Millie. In her free time, she engages in physical fitness activities, enjoys reading—particularly in the mystery and thriller genres—and binge-watching reality television.
