Dr. Monali Faldu's love for veterinary medicine started with a high school summer reading book about animal health. Although she did not grow up with any pets, she loved animals and science and quickly became interested in a career as a veterinarian. She worked hard to gain as much experience as possible, from internships in undergrad to working as a technician prior to vet school. With each experience, she became more enamored with veterinary medicine, and now she truly cannot imagine a career path that is a better fit for her. In veterinary school she found a passion for emergency medicine and surgery. She also has a strong interest in shelter medicine and working with animals internationally.
