As an Arizona native, Dr. Megan Colborn is returning home to the cacti and sunshine. She is excited to bring her skills and passion for emergency and critical care medicine to the community that first inspired her veterinary journey. She worked as an assistant at an emergency clinic in Tucson, Arizona while she completed her undergraduate degree — helping her to develop great interest for emergency medicine. During veterinary school, her passions for emergency and critical care continued to deepen through leadership in SVECCS and clinical rotations. Megan enjoys that each day in the emergency setting is different, providing opportunities to manage a wide variety of cases. She values the fast-paced, problem-solving nature of emergency medicine and the ability to make an immediate, meaningful impact on her patients and their families. Specific interests include acid-base disturbances and endocrine-related diseases.
