Dr. Lauren Wienker might not have always known that veterinary medicine was the right path for her, but now she can’t imagine doing anything else. She began working as a veterinary assistant during undergraduate, cementing her passion for vet med. During veterinary school, she further developed her clinical skills in a busy small animal emergency room, where she discovered a passion for fast- paced, high-intensity cases. Dr. Wienker thrives in settings where every day brings something different, and she is especially drawn to the problem-solving and teamwork that emergency cases demand. She is excited to continue expanding her knowledge and providing high-quality, compassionate care at AVECCC.
