Dr. Emma Houlton, DACVECC
Emma Houlton, DVM, DACVECC was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University in Quebec. She then attended Oklahoma State University where she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. In 2021, she completed a small animal rotating internship at MedVet in Chicago, Illinois prior to completing residency in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at Arizona Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center.
Dr. Houlton's professional interests include management of polytrauma, sepsis, shock and resuscitation, mechanical ventilation and extracorporeal therapies. Outside of work, Dr. Houlton enjoys hiking, reading murder mystery novels, baking and spending time with friends and family.
