Dr. Christine Siems grew up in Georgetown, Texas.  She started her journey as a child in a 4H Dog Club where she learned how to care for and train dogs. This led her to joining a 4H Veterinary Assistant program at 13 years old where she fostered her love of learning and animal care.  Dr. Siems attended Texas A&M University for both undergrad and veterinary school. After which, she completed an emergency focused rotating Internship here at AVECCC.  Dr. Siems initially wished to be a general practitioner, however, fell in love with caring for hospitalized patients while working in the ICU during vet school.  She officially joined the AVECCC team as one of the full-time staff Doctors in August of 2023. Dr. Siems has had the pleasure of performing high quality medicine and nursing incredibly ill patients back to health. Dr. Siems has a special fondness caring for ventilator patients and managing patients in acute endocrine disorder crisis.
