Dr. Brett Montague, DACVECC
Dr. Brett Montague, a native of the Washington DC area, attended Virginia Tech where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Poultry Sciences in 2015. He then attended veterinary school at Kansas State University. In 2020, he completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals in Ithaca, NY. He then completed an emergency and critical care residency at the University of Pennsylvania, Matthew J Ryan Veterinary Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Montague’s clinical interests include advanced respiratory diseases and ventilation, management of sepsis, and novel uses of extracorporeal therapies. He is passionate about teaching and excited to train the future of critical care medicine at AVECCC!
