Dr. Amanda Christie decided she wanted to become a veterinarian at a young age and worked to achieve her childhood dream. During middle school she volunteered at the local animal shelter and by high school she spent her summers working at a general practice, emergency, and specialty veterinary clinic in Santa Cruz, CA. While she was exposed to many different avenues of veterinary medicine, she discovered her passion for emergency medicine and the ability it provides to obtain knowledge across all specialties. Her current interests include emergency medicine, critical care, radiology, and surgery.
